They learnt the true meaning of these words, “Watch your thoughts, they become your words. Watch your words, they become your actions. Watch your actions, they become your habits. Watch your habits, they become your character. Watch your character, it becomes your Destiny!” This led to the understanding of mapping experiences with the thoughts, de-coding the thoughts, logically assessing our own thoughts and how to overcome negative thoughts. SUBJECT INTEGRATIONAs part of the Math Science Visual Art Subject integration week, students of Grade 6 let their creative juices flow and made beautiful art work using Tangram pieces. The students who were online used an Online Tangram tool (https://toytheater.com/tangram/) to create their own Tangram Art. The theme for their art work was Plants in sync with the Science topic that they are learning. Students made flowers and scenery as part of their Integration activity. On completion, they had to write the shapes used and the fraction of shapes and colours of the Tangram pieces that they had used to make their craft in turn integration of all the 3 subjects – Math, Science and Visual Art. In their Science lessons, students took pleasure in crafting art using different parts of the plant in their Art lessons.
